Sergey Fedotov

Artistic director of the Authorial Theatre "U Mosta" (Perm)

Sergey Fedotov is the artistic director of Authorial Theatre “U Mosta”, Honored Artist of Russia, Honored Worker of Art of Russia, Laureate of the National Award of Czech Republic, Laureate of National Theatre Award of Russia “Golden Mask”. In 2004 he was acknowledged the best director of Czech Republic and became the first foreigner in Czech history to be awarded the National Award of Czech Republic for the staging of "Heart of a Dog" by Mikhail Bulgakov. In 2006 the Minister of Culture of Czech Republic awarded Sergey Fedotov with the prize of the newspaper "Prague News" for contribution to the Czech culture. On the 11th of January, his birthday, Sergey Fedotov was awarded the Medal of Josef Jungmann (Czech Republic). In 2012 he was awarded the Government Award of Russia for contribution to the development of theatrical art.
