Mariya Miroshnichenko

Born in Chelyabinsk in 1985, Maria has graduated from the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (workshop of B. Karadzhev and E. Reznikov). Since 2005 she is a director and a producer on “Ostrov” film studios. As a documentary filmmaker Maria has directed both Russian and International award-winning films, she produced a talk-show on documentary cinema “Watch. Discuss”, which stayed on TV-screens for 5 seasons on “Russia – Culture” channel. In November of 2014, Maria became the head of 24_DOC channel.
