Kathrin Lemme


Kathrin Lemme completed a law degree and then studied for a post-graduate degree in film production management at the Hamburg Media School, Germany. In 2002, she founded her own production company, Lemme Film. Since then, numerous nationally and internationally prizewinning documentary films have been produced. In 2013, together with Chris Kraus, Kathrin Lemme founded Four Minutes Film Production in Berlin to produce fiction films. Since 2006, Kathrin Lemme has also been Professor of Media Management at the Technical University of Applied Sciences and Arts Ostwestfalen-Lippe. In 2019 she got elected for Vice-President of the university for Communication and Profile. She is a member of the German and the European Film Academy.
