Sergey Anashkin

Sergey Anashkin (Russia) was born in 1965. He graduated from VGIK, the Department of Film Studies in 1989. The author of the numerous articles published in "Iskusstvo Kino", "Seans" and "Tatlin"magazines, in popular editions, encyclopaedias and scientific publications. Sergey is an awardee of "Elephant" prize established by the Guild of Film Critics of Russia. He teaches the history of filmmaking in Russian State Professional Pedagogical University in Yekaterinburg. The sphere of his close professional interest is modern Asian cinema. He is an expert in Yakut films.
