September, 17 at Flahertiana-2016 will be noted by the significant event – special screening of the film by Sergey Miroshnichenko “Rings of the World”. Perm Premiere of this unique documentary about the Sochi Olympics will be held in Cinema Park movie theatre, hall 6, 18:00. The film will be presented by the director.

“Rings of the World” is the biggest journalistic documentary in the history of Russian filmmaking. This is an authorial revelation of one of the most important contemporary documentary filmmakers, winner of the Emmy Award, Sergey Miroshnichenko, and his team of motion picture art masters. “Rings of the World” is a film about the true potential and internal barriers of human, about the elements that we challenge. The euphoria and pain, fear and inspiration, the goal - and temptations on the way, the victory at the arena – and in the everyday fight with yourself.

The film features famous sportsmen: Viktor Antonov, Ole Einar Bjoerndalen, Mike Babcock, Tatiana Volosozhar, Pavel Datsyuk, Darya Domracheva, Henrik Lundqvist, Evgeni Malkin, Per Morts, Evgeni Plushenko, Yuri Podladchikov, Gabriela Soukalova, Maxim Trankov, Martin Fourcade, Patrick Chan.

The premiere took place in Sochi in June 2016 on the Russian film festival “Kinotavr”. A copy of the film on 35mm film strip will be stored in Lausanne, Switzerland, where the headquarters of the International Olympic Committee is. From there, the director Sergey Miroshnichenko has already received a letter in which his film was called the best official film of the Olympic Games over the past 25 years.
