The IDFF Flahertiana has completed the admission of the films for competitions. The Organizing Committee received 839 submissions from Poland, Portugal, Canada, Germany, Belgium, Finland, Spain, USA, Belarus, Macedonia, Slovenia, Mozambique, Jordan, Qatar, Syria, Nepal and other countries.

Beside the films sent by filmmakers themselves, Flahertiana considers the documentaries recommended by the members of the Selection Committee that they have seen on collaborating festivals. Flahertiana programming team searched for the films on IDFA, Berlinale, Visions du reel, etc. A number of the documentaries coming to Perm from other festivals is the same that is sent by filmmakers independently, so, in total, the Selection Committee has to choose from over a thousand participating films.

We remind that this year Flahertiana will hold 3 competitions: International, National competition Russian Flahertiana and Student Competition.
