The IDFF Flahertiana has completed the admission of the films for international competition. The Organizing Committee received 706 submissions from Poland, Portugal, Canada, Germany, Belgium, Finland, Syria, Nepal and other countries.

The call for entries for Russian films for National And Student Films Competitions are still open. The deadline for Russian films is June 25th.

Besides the films sent by filmmakers themselves, Flahertiana considers the documentaries recommended by the members of the Selection Committee that they have seen on collaborating festivals. Flahertiana programming team searched for the films on IDFA, Berlinale, Visions du reel, etc. A number of the documentaries coming to Perm from other festivals is the same that is sent by filmmakers independently, so, in total, the Selection Committee has to choose from over a thousand participating films.
