Leila Hosseini

Born on 1974 in Tehran-Iran. She has graduated from Chemical Engineering. She has worked at an advertising office for 3 years and has worked in the international section of the Documentary & Experimental Film Center (DEFC) since 2001. Beside promoting and distributing Iranian films and presenting them in different film festivals and cultural events, she participated in many film festivals and international markets and was a jury member at many international film festivals. Since 2008, she has worked as a Festival programmer and selection committee for "Cinema Verite" Iran International Documentary Film Festival.

DEFC (Documentary and Experimental Film Center) is the main center for production, distribution and promotion of documentary, animation and experimental films in the Middle East. Organizer of "Cinema Vérité" Iran International Documentary Film Festival, in Tehran, Iran.
