Guliz Saglam

is an independent documentary filmmaker.

She is in the board of advisory and involved in coordination of events in Documentarist Istanbul Documentary Days, Which Human Rights Film Festival since 2013. She co-organizes EurasiaDoc Turkey Documentary Scriptwriting Workshop since 2019. She is currently involved in The Purple Meridians (purplemeridians.org) which is a project sponsored by Eurimages and brings together 18 filmmakers from Spain, Italy and Turkey to discuss the hurdles that female-identifying professionals face in the industry and to create a network for future collaborations. Her films have been internationally screened in various film festivals.
