The Seminar appeared in 1954, almost right after Robert Flaherty’s passing. This ideological and intellectual laboratory has been working within Flahertiana for several years now. The cross-cutting issue of the year is culture. Year 2014 in Russia is dedicated to this topic. This is partly the reason for director’s interpretation of this topic to become the common denominator of the program’s films.
