The Russian State Film and Photo Archive presents a retrospective program devoted to the Year of Culture in Russia. The program includes remastered colour documentaries: «Blooming Youth» showing the sports parade on the Red Square, bicolour documentary «By the Warm Sea» which shares the happy atmosphere of children having vacation at Young Pioneer Camp «Artek». And the film «Moscow in Colour» gives us an opportunity to see rare coloured shots of postwar Moscow.

In anticipation of the Great Victory at WWII Anniversary in 2015 the archive has prepared a block of films devoted to the Great Patriotic War: «Film Documents of War Years. 1941-1945», Sergey Larenkov's project «Bonds of Time: Revival from Ashes and Ruins» using the archive and modern pictures, and a documentary film «ET CETERA» meditating on reasons of war conflicts in Russia of the XX century.

The program also presents unique film documents of the WW I.
