An 80-years old married couple. After having had living in their flat for 66 years, now they have to move out. And while Maria is full of imperturbable optimism and vital joy, Tadeusz is a taciturn scientist and fatalist. This is a film about justice and equality, about morality crisis in the past and modern society, and also about the advantage of remaining young even if getting older.

Filip Antoni Malinowski
was born 1982 in Poznań, Poland. 1989 he moved from Poznań to Vienna, Austria. Studied Film and Media Science at the University of Vienna and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. “Resettlement” is his first feature documentary and same time a story about his roots. He lives and works in Vienna.
