The Last Tightrope Dancer in Armenia (6+)

This is the life story of The Last Two Tightrope Dancers in Armenia, Zhora (78) and Knyaz (75), who once were the most celebrated masters. They are the last ones who still have their performing troupes and keeping the ancient art alive, but all their students become older and find other interests in life. Why is their art not important anymore? This film will try to find out why artists who were once treated like gods can soon be forgotten.

Arman Yeritsyan

Arman Yeritsyan

is a participant, winner and jury member of numerous international film festivals. He taught a series of workshops and master classes on documentary filmmaking at Moscow State University, VGIK, Russian Internews, Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinema. Since 2007 Arman is collaborating with Bars Media Documentary Film Studio, working as a director and scriptwriter.

Inna Sahakyan

Inna Sahakyan

graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts with an M.A. degree in Fine Arts Criticism. Since 2003 she has been working as a producer and director at Bars Media Documentary Film Studio. She has directed and produced a number of short and fundraising documentaries for various international organizations and local NGOs (UN, UNICEF, European Union, and USAID). She is currently producing several documentary TV programs for ARTE.
