It is based on the honest flashbacks of the director himself, his friends and colleagues, such as Otar Ioseliani, Roman Balayan, Jemma Firsova, Michail Belikov, Naum Kleiman and others. The audience will be able to see for the first time the rich photo collection and the censored episodes from Sergienko’s films that were kept safe through all the years.

Aleksey Sergienko

was born in 1967. In 1991 he graduated from the Philological Faculty of the Moscow State University, in 1998 he finished the higher courses of scriprtwriters and directors, class of Evgeniy Tashkov. He worked as a producer and director for Channel One, NTV, Mosfilm, Trite, film company Central Partnership, film company Profit, Golden Eagle, Direction of Cinema, Fifth Channel, Russia-1. He died in December 2013.
