Sergei Loznitsa

Sergei Loznitsa

was born in 1964 in the city of Baranovichi, in Belarus. In 1987 he graduated from Kyiv Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Applied Mathematics. He then entered feature film directing workshop of Nana Djordjadze, Irakli Kvirikadze and Andrey Sirenko in VGIK, from which he graduated with honours in 1996.
