Olga Averkieva

is scriptwriter and director, a member of Documentary Film and TV Association, curator of Student Films Competition at the IDFF Flahertiana. She was born on October 12, 1990. While studying at the documentary workshop of Pavel Pechenkin and Rashid Davletshin in Perm State Institute of Culture, she started working at Novy Kurs film studio as assistant director, administrator, project manager, and then as a script writer and director. She took part in many major documentary projects of the film studio as assistant director. Winner of the V Debutants’ pitching of Moscow IFF in “Documentary Film” category.
