Armenia , 2016, colour, 90 min.
Director: Armen Khachatryan
It is more than 6 years now that a ravaging civil war in Syria turned into a religious, one that has now become an epicentre of human slaughter and destruction. This film is about Syrian Armenians who escaped horrors of war and found safety in Armenia; many of them are in poor financial and psychological state. They left their family members, relatives, and friends behind. In that burning country, they left their ruined and looted apartments, churches, cemeteries, and memories... They miss and suffer, dream and remem- ber, they pray... and they make an effort to start anew.
