This story is a true embodiment of Hemingway’s "The old man and the sea" in the life of a Kenyan fisherman. All his life he goes to the sea and catches fish. But his big dream is to catch a giant shark with his own hands. The fisherman is old and often takes his grandson to help. While the grandson is trying to catch at least something, the fisherman tells the endless stories about fish, people and spirits.

Jeroen Van Velzen
Йерун ван Вельсен родился в 1979 году в Херлин, Кения и в 2 года переехал с родителями заграницу. Режиссер пожил в Кении, Индии, Южной Африке. После окончания школы в Англии и ознакомительного года в Брайтонском Технологическом Колледже (Изящные Искусства) он перевелся в Академию Кино и Телевидения Нидерландов на курс режиссуры документального кино.
