Director: Ilya Povolotsky
After the collapse of the Soviet Union and the collapse of its imperial ambitions, the coast of the Barents Sea became empty. Numerous military garrisons were disbanded, scientific stations were abandoned, coastal villages were depopulated. But life is still glowing here. The roar of poaching boats breaks the gloomy silence of the picturesque bays. Yesterday's sailors of the Soviet armada "bomb" on old boats or, united in artels, cut decommissioned ships into metal. Only old Bardak is still serving on the ruins growing into the tundra and waiting for something.
