Daniel is a young man from Sant Erasmo, an island on the outskirts of the Venetian lagoon. He lives in solitude, he never communicates with his peers who drive barkino speed boats. They are obsessed with building the most powerful motorboats turning the quiet lagoon into a dangerous race track. Daniel also dreams of a super-fast boat that can make him a leader, but all his efforts on the way to his dream and recognition give the opposite result.
