They found their retreat at the top of Kachkanar mountain. For a few hermits it became a refuge and rescue from the difficult reality. For the last 17 years the Buddhist monastery has been constructed there and soon it will be replaced by a large quarry. The film tells about the internal life of the monks, their daily routine, problems, weaknesses and daily fight for the right to remain oneselft.

was born in 1982 in Omsk. In 2004 he graduated from Historical Department of Omsk State University. In 2005 he qualified as film director from “Internews” Independent School of Film and Television.
