«Conversations On Serious Topics» is a film without exterior action, props, landscapes or special effects. Its main characters are children and teenagers with a special ability to describe the surrounding world. Intimate conversations with them reveal the picture of the modern world – at times melancholic, at times comical, at times dramatic. Shot in a minimalist fashion, the film raises questions about loneliness, love, God, the world and human relations.

Giedrė Beinoriūtė

Born on August 23, 1976. Graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater, Film and TV department with a MA in audiovisual arts in 2001. Since 1997 directed and wrote seven fiction and documentary short films. Since 2004, member of the Lithuanian Filmmakers Union. Since 2007, teaching script writing and TV directing at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater.
