The cult of ancestors is one of the most popular among Udmurts. After parents' death each Udmurt should make a special thanksgiving sacrifice. This ceremony is called - “«Yir-pyd syoton» (literally A sacrifice of head and legs”). The film shows this ceremony with its funeral food and songs, when people tell their own and others' dreams and how they commemorate their dead and imagine that Other Side.

was born in 1981. He graduated from Republican Music College (2001), Udmurt state university (2006). He works at “My Udmurtia” TV-channel in Izhevsk since 2004. Director, film editor of authors’ cycles. Many times he took part in national and international festivals.
