Grey-haired old man called Robert Belov, blind with feeble body but with thunderous voice and iron will hates all kinds of power. At the same time he loves gently poetry and people who are connected to it. He loves Perm prisoner’s Krai where authorities sent poets and murderers. He writes a book of jokes titled “Permshina” about these people. He travels accompanied by a casual fellow-traveller, to the Ural places which Pasternak visited. He makes the landscape and voices look and sound differently, thus he creates informal vivid guide round Prikamye.

Sergei Lepikhin

was born in 1955 in Perm region. In 1989 he graduated from the VGIK, studio of feature film and got a diploma of ‘Cinema and telefilm operator” with excellent marks. Since 1991 he has been a member of cinematographers’ union of Russia.
