Each year, resident of Cologne Britta Wandaogo makes a trip to native village of her Burkina Faso born husband along with her spouse and daughter. For a short period of time, life of the German family is ruled by the laws of the big African family. However, getting close to “roots” gives rise to serious conflicts. This year, Britta intends to go to Africa alone.
