It is an edited picture about the metaphysical «train of Russian history», which set off from the tzar’s epoch, went through the revolution’s cataclysms, three wars, Stalin’s times and «the Thaw», and, finally, arrived at the platform of our time. This is the platform of savage primary capitalism, and its geographical position is the Russian-Chinese border.

Andrey Zheleznjakov

Andrey Zheleznjakov

was born in 1963. Graduated from the Sverdlovsk Theatrical School (profession - theater actor), worked as an actor in theater, assistant of director at the Sverdlovsk Film Studio. In 1988 he entered the VGIK (All-Russia State Institute of Cinematography, workshop of Kochetkov’s documentary direction). He graduated in 1993.
