This is a true story taking place at the old building of Perm ballet school in mid-90s. The People’s Actress Ludmila Sakharova and the School’s graduate Natalia Balakhnicheva (now a prime Kremlin Ballet dancer) just work every day. Although the film in centered around ballet, it tells us about something else, namely — the collision of two personalities.

Efim Reznikov

Efim Reznikov

was born in 1957. He graduated from the cameramen department of the All-Russia State Institute of Cinematography. Working on the Gorky film studio he shot more than 10 films as a cameraman. In 1990 he was called the best cameraman on the European film festival Felix . 1992 was the year of his debut as a film director - his first film was Dancing Phantoms.
