Eduard Dubrovsky

Scriptwriter

Eduard Dubrovsky is a nonfiction film scriptwriter, TEFI academician, member of the Union of Filmmakers of Russia and of the Lavr National Film Festival Grand Jury. He graduated from the Faculty of Scriptwriting of VGIK in 1965. Later on he worked at the scriptwriting workshop of “KievNauchFilm” studio. Since 1986 he is the artistic director of the studio “Fourth Dimension” in Moscow. He also worked with “Churchill Films” (USA). Between 1990 and 1994 he taught at the Higher Scriptwriting and Directing Courses of Russian “GosKino”. Eduard is the author of various books on the nonfiction film drama. Over 200 documentary, science and TV films have been made using the scripts of Eduard Dubrovsky.
