Galina Yankovskaya is a historian, culturist, Doctor of History, professor at Perm State National Research University, head of Master’s programs in History, editor of «Perm University bulletin. Series «History» journal. Sphere of interest – visual study, economic aspects of history of arts, soviet community of the Stalin era. Author of «Art, money and politics» monograph, as well as articles published in such journals like «Russian history», «Historian and artist», «Dialogue with time», Ab Imperio, Slavic review and others. Since 2009 Galina Yankovskaya has been involved in the activities of PERMM contemporary art museum, curating research and education activities, catalogue issue and work with museum visitors.
