Ksenia Gapchenko

Producer, film director

is a producer and film director. She studied at the School of Documentary Films and Theater of Marina Razbezhkina and Mikhail Ugarov. She worked as a curator of the repertoire of the Documentary Film Center. She was engaged in the festival distribution of Russian documentaries. Since 2017, she has been actively working as an independent producer, and together with producer and director Marusya Syroechkovskaya, she founded the Docs Vostok company. Participant in pitching forums Baltic Sea Docs (first prize for the project “How to Save a Dead Friend”, 2019), East Documentary Platform (best emerging pitch 2018 for the Holy Culture project!); IDFA Forum (2019). Received support from IDFA Bertha Fund in the development and production categories. Participant in workshops Ex Oriente and Eurodoc.
