Vladimir Beresnev

cultural scientist, art historian

in 1992 graduated from the Geology Faculty of Perm State University with a degree in Geophysics. In 1993-1994 worked in the laboratory of conservative fields of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences "Mining Institute". In 1994 he started postgraduate studies at the Department of Philosophy of the Perm State University. Since 1997, he has worked as a senior lecturer at the Department of History of Philosophy and Arts of the Perm State University. In 2010-2012 he worked in the project office "Perm – the Cultural Capital of Europe" at the Ministry of Culture and Youth Policy of Perm Krai as the head of the "Museum of Photography" project. Since 2012 – head of the department of the latest trends in the Perm State Art Gallery. Since 2015 – Member of the Supervisory Board at the Perm Museum of Contemporary Art "PERMM". Winner of state prizes and awards in the field of art and culture.
