Natalia Beresneva

Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Sociology at the Perm State National Research University

Natalia Beresneva specializes in language philosophy and semiotics. Natalia was born in Bartym village, Oktyabrski region of Perm Oblast. She graduated from the Philological Faculty of Perm State University in 1993 and started teaching there in 1996. In 1997 she defended her Candidate of Sciences theses, in 2006 – Doctor of Sciences theses. Currently, she is the Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Sociology at the Perm State National Research University (former Perm State University). She has facilitated the opening of such programmes at the faculty as Liberal Arts and Sciences, Culturology, and arranging the festival “VUZ-Flahertiana” in 2014.
