Editing. From Starting the Project to the Picture Lock. Master Class by Philipp Gromov

Good editing is not about individual splices within a scene but the ability to build a story within the framework of the entire film. The editor is a real associate of the director, his co-author and playwright, the first and most demanding spectator of the film.

How to engage the viewers, how to keep their attention, how to deal with reality, how to create something new, working with music and rhythm? Philip Gromov, the editor of more than 15 documentaries, from creative documentary "Siberian Love" to Netflix mini-series "A Perfect Crime", will share his experience.

September, 19. 16:00-17:30, Premiere Cinema Center, Campus.
