LetsDOC Film Lab. Workshop “Structuring documentary narratives. Part 1”

How to navigate the vast amount of filmed material? How to see the story within it, trim the excess, and build a narrative? Participants in the LetsDOC film lab, under the guidance of editing director Saikat Sekhsawar Ray (India), will learn how to construct the narrative of a documentary film during the editing process.

In theory and practice, the students of the lab will understand how the principle of manipulation works in non-fiction cinema and what becomes the "truth" of the film.
