The Opening Ceremony Film

The jubilee festival will open one of fifteen International Competition films – “A Syrian Love Story” (UK, 2015, 80 min). Documentary film by Sean McAllister, who has repeatedly taken part in Flahertiana, tells a family story of Raghda and Amer that unfolds with the Syrian conflict in the background.
