For the first time at Flahertiana – an international program of amateur films called "A Keyhole of Time". This is a collection of fragments shot in France and Russia – in Perm, to be more specific. Carefully selected by the curators of the program, these amateur footages make equally visible both scenes from the everyday life of unknown heroes and episodes from the life of celebrities of the last century, including the legendary artist Salvador Dali. Special event of the program will be the screening of the French film by Andre Bonzel “Flickering Ghosts of Loves Gone By”, premiered at Cannes Film Festival in 2021.

Film program is prepared with the support and participation of CICLIC Centre-Val de Loire, l’agence regionale pour le livre et l’image, Centre de la Memoire Ville d’Issoudun, Cinematheque de Nice, Perm Cinematheque and private collectors of Perm Krai. The opening of the program is timed to coincide with the creation of a video archive of amateur newsreels of the Perm Krai. Program curated by Marina Drozdova and Alexander Kiselev.
