In 2021, sensational materials were discovered in a private collection – reels containing footage of the last days of Leo Tolstoy and his burial. Two 35mm original color reels from 1910 were handed over to the largest film archive in the country, Gosfilmofond, the State Film Archive of Russia. The "Tolstoy on Screen" program features digital copies of the found materials.
