Director Laura Kaehr has been following her protagonist, prima ballerina at the Zurich Opera, Giulia Tonelli, for several years. Giulia returns to work four months after giving birth. To follow one's calling and to be a good mother at the same time – finding the balance is as challenging as making a choice.

This year, the "ballet" special screening, which has become a tradition for Flahertiana, not only introduces viewers to the wonderful world of dance theater with its charm and challenges but also addresses the role of women in this conservative and demanding environment.

After the screening, there will be a discussion with the film director, Laura Kaehr.
