The "Flahertiana" films are portraits of unique individuals from all over the world. Some stand up for women's rights, while others appear in adult films, find themselves in romantic entanglements, achieve sporting heights, or engage in familiar but challenging work such as building homes and healing people. This year, the selection committee of the International Competition invites you to look into closed and inaccessible worlds, to see individuals in harmony with nature, to be amazed by their spirit and dedication, and to gain a better understanding of this world and our own nature.
