Directors: Bettina Perut, Iván Osnovikoff
This is an amazingly beautiful film about the Surire salt flat and its inhabitants – last survivors of Aymara ancient culture. The Chilean filmmakers make us discover captivating landscapes where the background of mine sites and machinery is intermingled with flamingos, vicunas and llamas. The film portrays a unique space in which coexist natural beauty, human absurdity, and cultural decline.
