Paola Shih flies to Taiwan for the first time to meet with her father after twenty years of separation. Having spent all her life in Barcelona, the girl not only meets with her father, but also tries to understand and to acknowledge her “native” Taiwanese culture. The film explores the nature of family ties, and its singularities in our modern and globalized world.
