It’s 1934. There are troubles in the Northern parts of the USSR – Khanty and Nenets shamans repudiate new traditions. In order to conciliate two great cultures – those of the Russian Avant-garde and of the Ancient Paganism – a group of artists comes to Ob’s taiga. The group includes a composer, a sculptor, a theatre director, a constructivist architect, a primitivist filmmaker and their head is famous “Polina-Revolution”. Based on a true story.

Aleksey Fedorchenko
was born in Sol-Iletsk, Orenburg Region. He graduated from Engineering and Economics department of the Ural Polytechnic Institute and script-writing department of VGIK. He worked as economist, deputy director, producer, film director at Sverdlovsk film studio. Since 2005 he has been producer and filmmaker at 29 February Film Company. He is a member of the European Film Academy, of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia and Guild of Directors of Russia.
