Grandfather’s shed (6+)

Russia, 2015, colour, 37 min.
Director: Gleb Petrov
The film shows two stories. One is a myth about Lenin in Razliv, the other about the life of Yemelianov family. In summer 1917 Nikolay Yemelianov was sheltering Lenin in Razliv. The story of Yemelianov family changed in 1930s: Yemelianov, his wife and five children were repressed. The repressions were applied to Yemelianov’s grandchildren as well. Nevertheless, Yemelianov family still live in the house next to Lenin’s shed even today. Both stories have been changed many times in the last 100 years. Only one thing never changed – Razliv village.
