She was born on 15 October in 1977 in St. Petersburg. When she finished school, she worked as a journalist in newspaper and TV channel "STO". From 2004 to 2006 she was studying in art-studio "Kadr" of Lenfilm, after that Viktoriya Lopatch got in Saint Petersburg State University of Film and Television. During studying she created 7 short films and recieved a lot of awards for these films. After graduation she was a director of film cycle "Russian Faces" and other projects.
