Bosteri is a village in the middle of the Kyrgyz steppe. There, between meadows with wild horses and one of the world’s largest mountain lakes, a Ferris wheel rises up into the sky that only runs for two months a year. An encounter with people whom summer has left behind.

Hübner Levin
was born 1988 and raised in Hamburg. He had his practical training at Studio Hamburg (Tatort) and Markenfilm and works on freelance as director and location manager for commercials. In 2010-2014, he studied film directing at the IFS Internationale Filmschule Köln. His latest movies premiered at the Berlin Int. Film Festval («Bosteri Beneath the Wheel”) and Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis («Alter Egon” Audience Award Short Film).
