“Calabria” is a road movie in a hearse. After the death of a Calabrian emigrant who came to Switzerland to find work, two undertakers, Jovan and Jose travel to the south of Italy to repatriate the deceased to his home village. Their voyage at once pays tribute to the dead person and celebrates Life.

Pierre-Francois Sauter
spent his childhood in Mozambique, then he lived in Lisbon, Paris, Brussels, and Lausanne working as a director for different TV channels. Since 2003, he has devoted himself to producing and directing his own films. "Calabria" is Pierre-Francois Sauter's second feature film.
