Five Evenings with Boris Karadzhev

Writer "P". A Trial of Identification (16+)

Russia, 2013, colour, 75 min.
Director: Boris Karadzhe, Grigory Ryabushev
At the turn of the millennium Victor Pelevin has become perhaps the most fashionable, popular and commercially successful writer in Russia. However, he does not show his face, does not give interviews, wears sunglasses, and do not like being recognized on the streets. Who is he, this mysterious Mr. Pelevin? How has he become the writer who can be described as a "regent of our dreams"? How is he still able to maintain his "incognito"? These questions are subjects of reflection of the people who knew our elusive hero in different periods of his life – his classmates and teachers, friends of his youth and colleagues – writers, critics and publishers...
