Lialia. Some Traits to the Portrait

Lialia. Some Traits to the Portrait (6+)

Russia, 2017, colour, 79 min.
Director: Nikolai Makarov
The film narrates about Lyudmila (Lialya) Stanukinas, the Leningrad documentary filmmaker, the wife of film director Pavel Kogan. The film has been shot for 4 years as a chronicle, in the style of "home handy camera", and also includes her footage from 2010. However, this story is NOT about a filmmaker, but about a woman heroically struggling with loneliness, and putting all her effort to keep LOVE in her heart. The heroine exists in the episodes of the film without any comments. Also the plot consists of fragments and pieces of old films and newsreels...
