Anna Artemyeva
was born in Moscow. She graduated from Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) as a cinematographer and animation director. In 2019, she started the DocNomads master program in documentary filmmaking in Portugal, Hungary and Belgium. Her diploma animation film "Zhila-byla mama" was selected for more than 50 festivals around the world (Russia, Ukraine, Great Britain, Bosnia, Lithuania, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Georgia, Poland, Argentina, Germany, Belarus, Greece, Austria, Italy, France, Finland) and received more than 25 awards. As a DoP, in collaboration with director Elena Laskari, she has shot more than 15 documentaries.
