Hard to Be a Friend (0+)

Russia, 2021, colour, 22 min.
Director: Mikhail Gorobchuk
Three-year-old Stesha is an observant and artistic child. In her games, she reproduces everyday household rituals, conversations of parents, by copying the adults' behavior. Stesha brings up a plush cat, takes care of it, instructs – and it seems that this is just a simple game in front of the lens of her father's camera. But filming allows you to see yourself from another angle. This is how you get your first idea about your own capabilities, about responsibility for another.
